Late at night on September 19, residents of Poly Philharmonic Town and surrounding communities in the Zhaoqing Hi-Tech Zone gathered in front of Zhaoqing Juyuan Biochemical Co., Ltd. and Zhaoqing Changlong Biotechnology Co., Ltd. to protest. Due to long-term health damage caused by exhaust pollution from nearby chemical plants, they demanded an investigation into the enterprises' illegal discharge. Local police and environmental protection departments arrived at the scene to handle the situation, and there is currently no resolution.

On September 16, a man in Changde, Hunan held a street protest carrying a banner printed with cat and dog patterns and slogans such as "Refuse Animal Abuse," calling on society to pay attention to animal protection.

On September 7, the blogger "Yulie Qige" filmed a barge directly dumping a full hold of black muddy material into the Yangtze River near the Wuhan Qingshan Yangtze River Bridge. According to reports, the blogger witnessed three barges carrying out similar operations within 1.5 hours and has filed a complaint with the relevant authorities.
