On September 28, a parent posted on Xiaohongshu claiming that after their child consumed Hema's MSC-certified Antarctic Silver Cod children's meals for about 8 months, tests revealed elevated blood mercury levels. After reporting this to the merchant, the supplier replied that the testing was qualified and claimed that 'children's meals' was merely a description of the product form. The parent also encountered other children with suspected elevated blood mercury levels at the hospital.
