Dear fellow Americans, don’t fall for CCP propaganda—China has never been, and will never be, a safer or better regime than the U.S.

Self-criticism is important, but without proper comparisons, some Americans fall for CCP propaganda, believing the U.S. government is worse—or even their biggest enemy. Having grown up under an authoritarian regime, I can confidently say that the American government and its people are far better than those in autocratic states. This isn’t an endorsement of the U.S. government’s flaws, but a stark reality of the world.

China’s shadow war on America has been ongoing for years, with Chinese speaking communities on the frontlines. Too many communists are already on U.S. soil, infiltrating our communities and misrepresenting Chinese Americans.

They may not be targeting your community now, but it’s only a matter of time. This doesn’t mean we should ignore the wrongs of our own government, but we can’t pretend that China is a safer or better regime. Look at my experience—I’m an American too, yet the CCP treats me as if I’m under their rule.
