Welcome to VOA, Sylvia. Thank you. Thank you for taking the time to talk to us. I know you make all the way from Chiang Mai, right? So could you please tell us what you have done and what you plan to do to help Mingxin during your stay in D.C.? Well, my main job is to advocate for his behalf. So I've done a congressional hearing yesterday and then I will just be doing more interviews and getting his case, you know, more public and until I leave.

So, yesterday, on the congressional hearing, you made the direct plea to President Trump. If you ever got a chance to talk to him, what would you say to him? I just want to say thank you for the wrongful determination so far, but unfortunately, the work is not done until my husband is at home,所以我希望他能處理他在最後面的設計等他回家。

at the end of August I did an interview with Min Xin's brother Aung Mao Xin and he told me that on August 12th the U.S. officers got a chance to visit Min Xin and talk to him briefly for like 15 minutes. So since then is there any like new developments on his case? The counselors have a next visit on September 15th, so that's going to be the 4th visit. And he is in good spirits, he is worried about us, me and my daughter, and he is trying to exercise, he's trying to keep healthy, and he can't wait to come home.

I heard he is like detained by himself. Aung Mao Xin told me that he's very strong. So what's your biggest concern for him? Physical health. I just want him to come home strong and not have any health issues.

Okay, so let's talk about some June 3rd situation. So he left for airport. Did you take him to the airport? I did not. He went himself. 你跟他說 anything to him or did he say anything to you before? That was he concerned about the trip? It was a very routine trip, you know, he was invited everywhere, you know, he goes on these trips all the time. I don't even know that I came home to say goodbye to him. I think I just left with my daughter to drop her off at school. I just went on with my day, you know, so there was nothing significant or that stood out about this trip.

So when he landed he sent you and also texted his co-worker. Yes, and also yeah. And so you think everything is okay, right? Yeah. I think my focus kind of shifted on, okay, it could be a long term, and what are we going to do, and what am I going to do? I think I'm doing here is what I need to do. I need to speak on his behalf, I need to advocate for him, and until he comes home.
