On September 17, a collective strike occurred at the Cangdong Power Plant project in Cangzhou, Hebei, which is being constructed by China Energy Engineering Corporation (CEEC) Tianjin Electric Power Construction. Many migrant workers sat in protest in front of the office building to demand three and a half months of unpaid wages.
