On September 17, the Huai'an Municipal Bureau of Justice in Jiangsu released the results of its solicitation for legislative suggestions on municipal government regulations for 2027. Out of the 150 suggestions received, 148 related to anti-animal cruelty and the management of stray dogs and cats, accounting for 98.7%. Officials stated that relevant suggestions will be evaluated and reviewed.
