On Sep 18, netizens exposed chat logs showing a physics teacher at Dafang No. 2 Middle School in Bijie, Guizhou, sexually harassing a female student. The victim continued to be harassed after explicitly refusing, and has now reported the incident to the police. On Sep 19, the local police station, education bureau, and discipline inspection commission confirmed they have intervened in the investigation. The school stated that the teacher involved has been removed from his post.
