Peng Zaizhou's Sitong Bridge incident is a textbook example of domestic political dissidents "charging the fortress" in China. Analyzing Peng Lifafa's execution of the Sitong Bridge protest can help us better plan and implement future fortress-charging activities.

Careful Planning and Thorough Preparation

Selection of Time and Place

In the third year of pandemic prevention and control, long-term lockdowns had already become unbearable for the general public. The lockdowns had also evolved to an extreme and anti-human degree. And such an earth-shattering shout as "Down with the reactionary national thief Xi Jinping" instantly broke through the linguistic taboo that ordinary people under the enslavement of the CCP had dared not touch for many years. It made ordinary people in China suddenly realize that, after all, some people still dared to say such words, and saying them was not such a terrifying thing.

And for every extra second of safe time on the bridge, a few more people would see it, and the probability of it spreading would be greater. Thus, the propaganda effect would be even better.

Achieving Goals and Effects

From Peng Zaizhou's specific operational process outlined above, it can be seen that Warrior Peng meticulously designed this Sitong Bridge fortress-charging protest event with the goal of maximizing his propaganda impact. It is clearly stated in the propaganda document he published online:

Namely: We want food, not nucleic acid tests; we want freedom, not lockdowns. We want votes, not lies; we want reform, not the Cultural Revolution. We want dignity, not a leader; be citizens, not slaves. Boycott classes, strike work, and depose the dictatorial national thief Xi Jinping!

Through analysis, it can be seen that when planning a fortress-charging action, we must first establish the goals and effects, then choose the methods and approaches, and finally select the time and location. The finalization of all details is premised on the maximization of goal realization.

Immediate protests without preparation are the most numerous, and it can be said they happen every day in CCP-land. If these events happen to be recorded and disseminated by someone, they will have some influence. If they are not disseminated, they become an "ineffective protest." Because the consistent attitude of the CCP is that "if the outside world doesn't know, it never happened."

Around the time of Peng Zaizhou, there were also some admirable warriors who undertook personal protests. For example, Sheng Zhang from Peking University, the Beijing Bird's Nest flyer woman, and so on, but their impact was much smaller compared to Peng Zaizhou. For instance, regarding the Beijing Bird's Nest flyer woman, we still do not know her identity. We can certainly understand her demands from "A Passage to Compatriots" on her flyers. I completely agree with her demands; however, the content seemed to lack slogans as simple, clear, and catchy as "We want food, not nucleic acid tests" or "Down with the reactionary national thief Xi Jinping" that could directly generate resonance while bringing shock and inspiration. Consequently, the dissemination it sparked on the internet did not last long.

It must be emphasized again that here we are only analyzing the question of how individually planned protest activities can maximize their effects. We express heartfelt admiration for every individual who dares to execute protest activities.

Apart from Peng Zaizhou, another case of individual protest achieving maximized impact is the "Yang Jia Case." This is a classic case of an individual defending personal dignity through violent revenge.

In CCP-land, as an ordinary citizen, it is extremely difficult to truly defend your rights through the carefully designed legal system of the CCP. Or rather, the CCP's legal system itself is designed to exploit, enslave, and plunder ordinary people. Therefore, almost all ordinary people who have experienced rights defense protests in China eventually discover that the only way to achieve equality with the ruling class is death. I trade my life to bring about your death; that is fair. Yet ordinary people merely sum up such an epic and great resistance lightly with the two words "desperate struggle"—what a lovely, kind, and yet humble group of ordinary people they are!

Similarly, Yang Jia, who suffered abuse from Shanghai police, ultimately chose this path. This is the choice of a hero. Everyone who regards dignity as more important than life is an epic existence. Yang Jia did not retaliate immediately, but took action after a period of preparation. The goal was exceptionally clear—to kill more CCP evil dogs who had insulted and persecuted him. This is violent, but all ordinary people who understand the CCP know that this is justice. He did what they had long wanted to do but dared not; he helped them fulfill their dream!

The result of the incident itself was quite shocking. Yang Jia single-handedly allowed the long-oppressed Chinese people to vent a breath of pent-up anger. They had no reason not to spread the heroic story of Yang Jia, no reason not to toast a cup of wine and light a cigarette for him. Such an outcome, I believe, even for Yang Jia himself, even at the very moment before his execution, would not bring him a shred of regret, but rather a joy originating from the depths of his heart. This is by no means an indulgence of violence; this is the thrill of justice being upheld, the leap of joy when goodness in human nature triumphs.

Whether it is Peng Lifafa, who ignited the White Paper Movement, or Yang Jia, who fought for justice and dignity; whether it is "Program Think," who quietly provided censorship-circumvention software to compatriots for decades while even his wife was kept in the dark, or Xu Zhiyong and Ding Jiaxi, who worked down-to-earth for a long time to promote civil rights; whether it is Sheng Zhang holding a sign at Peking University or the nameless woman climbing a water tower to scatter flyers, all of these are heroes we admire. We have too many stirring heroes; we have no reason not to hold hope! Their courage is worthy of our reverence, their ideals are worthy of our praise, and their deeds are worthy of our careful study and learning. On the road to pursuing freedom, democracy, human rights, and dignity, we are not alone. We walk alongside them and more brothers and sisters like them who lead the way. What we must do is learn from their experience and make this road longer and wider.

Yet, we need not feel inferior in their presence; we can also walk this path using our own methods. Spreading the truth in the pool of dead water using our own methods also creates ripples and echoes. Every reply is our bullet, and every mockery demonstrates our courage. We transfer the joy of charging the fortress from gaming to countering internet censorship, making this path wider and wider; we spread the technology of bypassing the firewall to everyone who wants to understand the truth, making this path wider and wider; low-key, careful, and firm in conviction, we are always ready at that

When the moment arrives, stand before them with well-prepared posture, and fight the final decisive battle with them.
