On September 11, a Kuaishou streamer read out a statement twice during a live broadcast, publicly criticizing the Chinese Communist Party and Xi Jinping, and calling for an end to the one-party dictatorship through a non-violent, non-cooperative velvet revolution. About two and a half minutes later, the live stream was forcibly shut down.
In the early morning of December 22nd, the Kuaishou platform was suspected of being attacked by hackers, with a large number of pornographic live stream content appearing on the platform. Even its official live stream accounts were altered into pornographic live stream rooms, attracting widespread attention from netizens.
