X User LuJun Quan Posts Warning That KuaiMiao VPN Is Phishing Software
According to a post by X user LuJun Quan (@QuanLujun), netizens who circumvent the Great Firewall are warned that KuaiMiao VPN is phishing software. Its registered address is shown as a police officers' dormitory building in Shenzhen, and some netizens have reported being approached by police for talks four times after using this VPN. In addition, the post points out that most VPNs in the Apple and Google app stores are operated by Chinese companies, posing enormous security and compliance risks.
