Hidden Wireless Spy Device Discovered in Women’s Restroom of Study Building at Shanghai University of Political Science and Law, Prompting Students to Call Police
On May 28, 2026, students at Shanghai University of Political Science and Law discovered a functioning hidden wireless covert camera device above the partition of a women’s restroom in the Zhiyuan Pavilion study building. The device was capable of transmitting footage remotely. The device in question was subsequently handed over to the Security Office and a police investigation was launched.
