Kweichow Moutai Shares Fall 43% From Peak, Market Cap Drops to 1.57 Trillion Yuan
According to a Nikkei Asia report on October 10, as of the end of September Kweichow Moutai's market cap stood at 1.57 trillion yuan, with its share price down 43% from its peak. The report attributed this to the economic slowdown, falling housing prices making the wealthy cautious about investing, and the tightening of anti-corruption enforcement and regulation of extravagance and waste in May 2025 hitting demand.
