iQIYI Sued Xunlei and Named a Huizhou Car Rental Company as a Defendant, Seeking 50,000 Yuan in Compensation
According to a New Yellow River report on October 21, when iQIYI sued Xunlei, it listed a Huizhou car rental company as a defendant and sought 50,000 yuan in compensation, claiming that the company's vehicles came "pre-installed" with the software. The owner of the rental company said the software was installed by the renter after picking up the car. A lawyer interviewed believes the move was intended to use the rental company's location to argue for trying the dispute with Shenzhen-based Xunlei in Huizhou.
