Qingdao CSCEC Second Engineering Division project owes over 600,000 yuan in wages to plasterers, multiple workers climb to the roof to demand payment
On October 21, in Qingdao, Shandong, the "Ocean Vitality Zone" project of the China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) Second Engineering Division in Huangdao District has failed to pay over 600,000 yuan in wages to several interior plasterers since the project's completion at the end of 2024, leading multiple workers to climb to the roof to threaten suicide in order to demand their unpaid wages.
