Taoyuan District Prosecutors Office raids Xinxin Electronics over illegal origin-laundering
On August 28, the Taoyuan District Prosecutors Office searched Xinxin Electronics, suspected of transshipping products made in mainland China to Taiwan and then labeling them "Made in Taiwan," seized related items, and questioned 100 defendants and relevant witnesses. The defendants were released on bail ranging from NT$15 million to NT$300,000.
