Merchants and Employees Gather in Large Numbers at Hangzhou's Zhangshang University Platform to Defend Their Rights
On October 20, the "Zhangshang University" platform under Hangzhou Xinmai Technology was accused of collecting high service fees on the promise of a "guaranteed minimum sales volume," then failing to perform, delaying refunds indefinitely, and owing wages to internal employees and campus agents. Large numbers of people gathered at the company's premises to defend their rights, and victimized merchants issued a petition urging regulators to investigate severely.
