On October 28, homeowners at the C&D Jiuliwan residential complex in Wuxi, Jiangsu, posted a video reporting roof cracks in stacked-unit houses, construction waste buried inside the waterproofing layer and structure, and water accumulation under the insulation layer, stating that their daily rights defense efforts have yet to resolve the issues.

On October 1, multiple owners of the C&D Ruiyun development in Fuzhou, Fujian, gathered in front of the sales office and along the street over suspected false advertising and products not matching the description, holding banners and shouting "C&D fraud, C&D refund our homes." Relevant personnel at the scene held up umbrellas to block the view and snatched the banners.

On the evening of July 26, Zhao Haifeng, general manager of the Zhejiang branch of China Merchants Shekou, and the general manager of C&D Real Estate's Hangzhou company, among others, committed forcible indecent assault against a female subordinate who had organized the gathering while moving on to another KTV venue, causing second-degree minor injuries.
