On November 4, the People's Court of Zuoquan County, Shanxi Province, delivered a first-instance verdict: Zhang Mouguo was sentenced to 12 years in prison for the crimes of rape and molestation of a child, and Zhang Moulin was sentenced to 10 years in prison for rape. Both defendants stated in court that they would not appeal.
