Former Qingdao Municipal Standing Committee Member and Publicity Department Head Liu Shengqin Expelled from Party and Public Office for Serious Disciplinary and Legal Violations
On August 27, 2026, the Shandong Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision announced that Liu Shengqin, former member of the Standing Committee of the Qingdao Municipal Committee and former head of the Publicity Department, was expelled from the Party and public office for serious disciplinary and legal violations, including accepting huge amounts of money and property and illegally interfering in judicial proceedings.
