On June 19, 2025, the Social Security Bureau of Jingmen City, Hubei Province published a promotional article titled “Paying Social Security Contributions with Loans: A Win-Win for All Three Parties,” urging the public to pay their social security contributions by taking out loans. Recently, as new rules mandating social security contributions have drawn public attention, the article was dug up again by netizens and met with skepticism. It has since been deleted and now returns a 404 status.
