Former Director of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine Yu Yanhong Turns Herself In for Investigation
On November 6, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission announced that Yu Yanhong, former Party Secretary and Director of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law. She has turned herself in and is currently under investigation. Her predecessor, Yu Wenming, was sentenced to 15 years in prison this August for accepting bribes totaling over 63.44 million yuan.
