Nine Yanbian Prosecutors Sentenced for Torture-Induced Death of Liu Xiyong
A Tianjin court delivered the first-instance verdict for the nine prosecutors involved in the Yanbian case. Xu Xuezhe, the head of the special investigation team, and others were sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment for intentional injury or extracting confessions by torture.
