International Human Rights Organization Issues Statement Urging Chinese Government to Disclose Whereabouts of Rights Defender Yin Xu'an, Missing for One Year
On August 12, 2026, the international organization Chinese Human Rights Defenders issued a statement pointing out that it had been a full year since Hubei rights defender Yin Xu'an, who is seriously ill, was intercepted while being taken to Beijing for medical treatment and forcibly disappeared, and urged the Chinese authorities to immediately disclose his whereabouts and health condition and release him unconditionally.
