According to the Zhejiang Meteorological Observatory, the center of Typhoon Bavi made its second landfall around 00:00 on the 12th in Qingjiang Town, Yueqing, Wenzhou, Zhejiang, maintaining a typhoon intensity of Category 13 during both landfalls.

On July 11, Mabian Yi Autonomous County, Leshan, Sichuan was struck by severe floods; meanwhile, torrential rains in Qianxi, Tangshan, Hebei triggered floods, leaving some people washed away by rapid currents or trapped on car roofs.

Typhoon Bavi, the 9th typhoon of this year, made landfall around 23:20 on the night of July 11 in Kanmen, Yuhuan, Taizhou, Zhejiang, with a maximum wind force of level 13 near the center upon landfall.
