Residents in Shanghai, Hangzhou and Other Places Rush to Buy Supplies and Evacuate Ahead of Typhoon Bavi

Ahead of Typhoon Bavi, residents in Shanghai, Hangzhou and coastal areas of Zhejiang and Jiangsu rushed to supermarkets one or two days early to stock up on vegetables, fresh food and other supplies. Hangzhou East Railway Station and the airport were crowded with people evacuating, and coastal residents in Zhejiang parked their cars on elevated expressways to protect them from flooding.
