On September 17, a female student at Tongji University in Shanghai went to the school infirmary to request a sick note for menstrual pain, but was asked by the school doctor to take off her pants to prove her physical condition. Multiple students from the same school confirmed that this regulation exists. Currently, the relevant posts exposing the incident have been deleted.
