A study by the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Huazhong University of Science and Technology shows that serum levels of PFAS, arsenic, mercury and other harmful substances among people in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai rank among the highest in the country, and some exposures are associated with the risk of chronic diseases.
