A 16-year-old Chinese netizen submitted a plea for help, claiming to be trapped in the "Shwe Dangni" scam compound on the Thai-Myanmar border, where about 1,700 people are beaten, scolded and physically punished, and are forced to engage in cross-border fraud through targeted-chat investment scams and forced labor.
