Jia Jinglong rammed, intercepted and beaten by a mob on his way to the police station to turn himself in

On February 19, 2015, the first day of the Lunar New Year, Jia Jinglong killed He Jianhua and then drove to turn himself in. On the way, his car was rammed to a stop by vehicles driven by He Jianhua's son and nephew, and he was restrained, suffering multiple injuries, including a comminuted fracture of the lower leg.
