Zelensky Says He Could Destroy Russian Missile Launchers If Trump Opens Starlink Coverage Over Russia

On October 15, 2026, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky mentioned in a public statement his conversation with former U.S. President Donald Trump. Zelensky said he had told Trump that if the U.S. could provide Starlink services to Ukraine and extend its coverage into Russian territory, Ukraine would be capable of destroying Russia's ballistic missile launchers. Zelensky believes this would force Russia back to the negotiating table, thereby preventing further damage to energy infrastructure.
