Similar to the live-fire long-range drills of the U.S. Rim of the Pacific Exercise (RIMPAC), this scene also appeared during Taiwan's three-day joint tri-service precision missile firing exercise. According to a press release from the Presidential Office of Taiwan, President Lai Ching-te traveled to Pingtung on the morning of the 18th to inspect the joint tri-service precision missile firing and expressed his affirmation of the exercise results.

This firing exercise covered multiple Taiwan-made and U.S.-made missiles and rockets, including Hsiung Feng missiles and HIMARS, as well as attack drones currently being developed by Taiwan.

According to reports from Taiwanese media, as Taiwan's tri-service precision missiles were successively deployed in the exercise, China simultaneously dispatched military aircraft, drones, and naval vessels to operate around Taiwan, drawing attention.
