Trump Launches “Superintelligence” Government Website, Signals He Does Not Want to Cooperate with China in This Field
U.S. President Trump signed an executive order establishing the America.gov superintelligence government service platform. The executive order requires all government agencies to integrate their public-facing services onto this platform within 90 days.
The platform is already live, and members of the public can type questions into the search bar, with the superintelligence searching thousands of federal government databases to provide users with relevant information. Starting in 2027, the platform will offer more practical government services, such as helping people handle matters like name changes, streamlining processes that might previously have taken weeks to complete.
Trump also spoke about U.S.-China competition in the field of superintelligence, saying that the United States currently holds the lead and therefore there is no need to share more technology with China. Trump also discussed the concept of superintelligence, saying it will represent the next stage of artificial intelligence development, and stated that the United States will officially use the name superintelligence.
After signing the executive order, Trump dined at the White House with a number of executives from the superintelligence industry. Attendees included Tesla CEO Elon Musk, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang, META CEO Mark Zuckerberg, and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, among others. Trump said the meeting went very smoothly and was very productive, and he said these companies will work in particular with local communities on data centers.
