Xi Jinping to Arrest at Least 50% of Mid- and High-Ranking CCP Officials
This video discusses the strong signal sent by Xi Jinping through an article in Qiushi magazine regarding comprehensive and strict governance of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), pointing out that the CCP officialdom is undergoing a massive purge, with approximately half of the officials facing arrest. The host analyzes the current atmosphere of terror among officials, the trend of officials making preparations for their aftermath, and the situation where overseas assets are being retroactively investigated, advising the public to dispose of domestic real estate assets as soon as possible.

For the past two days, this topic has been inescapable for all independent media. You see, these independent media topics all revolve around Xi Jinping's intention to arrest CCP officials. This is a period where the CCP officialdom is already facing a bloody storm. As I mentioned in the previous program, it happens to be the 60th anniversary of the Cultural Revolution, a full cycle of sixty years, and it is once again being unleashed across the entire CCP officialdom. You all need to know that this Qiushi magazine is very important to the CCP; it is absolutely a mouthpiece. It is an internal party publication, and the fact that Xi Jinping published an article in Qiushi magazine today is essentially for the people inside the Communist Party to read.
Publishing this article is actually telling these people within the party, these Communist Party members, that he is going to take lethal action and begin a thorough purge. This is the important article by General Secretary Xi Jinping published in Qiushi magazine, which is to promote comprehensive and strict party governance with higher standards and more concrete measures. Why strict party governance? Every time it is called "strict and heavy." Back on August 19, 1983, there was a "strict and heavy" crackdown on criminal offenders. That was August 19, 1983, when there was a massive arrest across China called the crackdown on criminal offenders. At that time, they arrested almost everyone in society. Some of these people might have had a criminal record, while others had committed no crime at all, but the local Public Security Bureau considered them suspicious, so they were handled "strictly and quickly"—arresting these criminal offenders. At that time, nearly ten million people were arrested nationwide.
I remember that night, to what extent were the arrests in Shanghai? There was no room left to hold the people. When they were arresting them, they ran out of places to hold them, so they cleared out an elementary school near my home, surrounded it with troops at the time, and locked up so many people inside the school. Can you imagine how many people there were? Everyone should look at this history. At that time, it was "strict and heavy, fast and quick," a campaign launched by Deng Xiaoping. Many people at that time were innocent and did not even meet the criteria for execution, yet many were. At that time, if you danced a few steps—there were no dance halls outside back then, some people liked to dance at home, put on a tape recorder, and everyone danced together—many of those people were intellectuals, former school teachers, some grassroots officials in government agencies, and some were even students; there were university students back then, and many were locked up. At that time, if a girl dated a boy, or a boy dated a girl, and their standards were relatively high—dating this one today and that one tomorrow, which is very normal today—they were arrested and charged with hooliganism. If you didn't submit, they would drag you out and execute you directly. Many people were executed.
So this is Xi Jinping's current approach of governing the Party with severity and strictness, which is actually completely similar to the entire incident back then. What is this article? It is a 'beheading' article. A very heavy signal has been sent out from Qiushi magazine. A signal was also sent out last year, but this time the signal is the strongest. So do you know what Xi Jinping is doing now? Xi Jinping, who is facing his own demise, is dragging others down with him. He wants to settle the people below and handle many future matters to ensure that his ancestral graves will not be dug up in the future. Currently, the entire Chinese economy is in a complete mess. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is often like this: when the common people cannot afford to eat, that is actually when the CCP starts talking about 'politics.' Conversely, whenever the CCP starts talking about politics, the common people cannot afford to eat.
Deng Xiaoping initiated the Reform and Opening-up, which actually meant putting politics aside, loosening the grip on the entire country, the entire society, and the entire CCP system. After loosening the grip, he let people pursue the economy themselves, saying, 'I won't talk to you about politics, as long as I hold the political power firmly.' Public sentiment is actually politics. What the CCP wants to do now, what Xi Jinping wants to do now, is that he has completely lost the hearts of the people. Without public support, the hearts of the common people are not with the CCP at all; the common people have long since abandoned Xi Jinping and the CCP in their hearts. At that point, he resorts to tyranny, suppression, and slaughter. Now, in the entire country, the entire society, how many people are opposing Xi and the CCP? How many people within the CCP are opposing Xi and the CCP? The proportion of those opposing Xi and the CCP within the CCP is even higher than among the common people, because although these people inside the CCP system are brainwashed every day, they see far more of the crimes and evils of the CCP than the common people do, and they are very familiar with the rules of the entire bureaucratic system and officialdom.
So, to what extent has Xi Jinping reached now? He himself is already failing, and he wants to find these people to be buried with him, to take them all away, leaving only his trusted aides—actually, they are not even trusted aides anymore. He actually has no trusted aides; Xi Jinping only has family, no trusted aides, only family, only relatives, and he is very clear about that. Look at Mao later on; did he have any relatives? He didn't have any either; everyone was fractured. You see the Gang of Four later on, those who had been following him all along—does Jiang Qing count as his relative? After being husband and wife for so many years, in the end, everyone went their own way, completely unrelated. As for Xi Jinping now, in the future, Peng Liyuan will also walk a completely different path from him. Maybe one day Peng Liyuan will feel that she cannot go on like this anymore, and she might just sell Xi Jinping out; it is entirely possible. As long as one enters this system within the CCP, first, so-called comrades are enemies and opponents; so-called spouses are enemies and opponents. In the end, that is how it is.
Xi Jinping cannot go on, so what does he do? He conducts a major political purge. Beijing has been turned upside down these past two days; people are being arrested everywhere in various ministries and commissions. Now, the personnel of the Central Guard Bureau, who used to be all in Beijing, are now in the provincial party committee compounds and provincial government compounds of every province. They are all people from the Central Guard Bureau, just like the Gestapo or the Nazis in Germany. They listen directly to the central command and have nothing to do with the local authorities. He can arbitrarily take away a provincial party secretary, a governor, or a vice governor; taking away a department head is done at will. A few people run over, show their credentials, say 'We are from the Central Guard Bureau, now you come with us,' and they just stuff the provincial party secretary into a car and leave. Because the people around the provincial party secretary are all sent by the Central Guard Bureau, they take you away directly. As long as Cai Qi makes one phone call, as long as Cai Qi says to arrest this person and bring them to Beijing, these people are sent directly to Beijing; they find a flight and arrive in Beijing in no time.
Now, news coming out from the Organization Department of the CCP Central Committee shows that everyone is judging the current situation of the CCP. At the very least, these people inside, the people of the CCP, are now guessing that at least over 50 percent of CCP officials will be purged and arrested by Xi Jinping. Of course, it won't be in one day; it must be in stages, perhaps within half a year or a year. That is to say, the whole process will take a few months; it shouldn't take too long. Beijing has now become a hunting ground for arresting CCP members. The common people are not being robbed; the common people are fine, they can live their normal lives; it has nothing to do with the common people.
When these officials are arrested, they are simply liquidated directly. In the future, some might have their assets confiscated and be given lighter sentences to commute their prison time; others will face heavy sentences. The higher the rank of the official, the higher the probability of arrest. For example, those at the bureau or provincial department level often face heavy sentences of over 20 years, 15 years, or 10 years, and some may even be directly sentenced to death with a reprieve or outright execution. Xi Jinping will execute people in the future, and these people who are executed will definitely not be allowed to speak. Those at the provincial and ministerial levels will all receive heavy sentences in the future, while bureau-level cadres usually get around 10 years because they do not know as much. What is the most important thing? The most important thing is to strip away, dispose of, and confiscate their family assets.
Since I returned to the United States in 2018, I have consistently predicted the decline of the Chinese economy. Many people said, "Old Hu, you are smearing the Chinese economy, smearing the Communist Party, and smearing your own country." Let's look back. Whenever we examine any matter, as long as we look back at history, we will know. From 2018 to the present, hasn't everything—whether it's politics, the economy, or the livelihood of ordinary people—been in a process of decline and collapse? You could say it is purely a process of collapse. Back in 2018, the economy was very good, and many people asked how our economy could possibly decline. They said the only way we could decline in the future is if the United States declined, and that the Chinese economy could never decline. Now look at it again. I have always said that the only possible cause for the decline of the Chinese economy is politics. When politics goes wrong, its decline plunges headlong—the entire Chinese economy and people's livelihoods plunge headlong. From 2018 to the present, China's intellectual and wealthy elites have been in a continuous process of fleeing abroad. The people Xi Jinping is targeting for arrest now are precisely these wealthy and ideological people. This is completely identical to Mao's playbook back then.
I am making this video to tell you CCP officials that you should try your best to figure out a way, because it is about to come for you. You might be watching my program tonight, and the next day or tomorrow morning when you go to work, you might be taken away by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) or your city's discipline inspection commission. If you can leave, you should leave as much as possible. Staying in that place means facing a total slaughterhouse in China's current officialdom. Remember my words: at least over 50 percent of officials will be purged. Being purged means being arrested, and many people will become prisoners. Look at my past videos. Before I started doing self-media, back in 2018, 2019, and 2000, when I was helping other media outlets do program commentaries, go look at the things I said back then. They are all coming true now; they have all been fulfilled.
Therefore, I think CCP officials must understand very clearly that the period you are in now is completely different from the past. Back in the eras of Deng, Jiang, and Hu Jintao, arresting officials required official notification. Back then, it was very difficult to arrest even a National People's Congress (NPC) deputy or a member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC); you had to report it to the NPC or CPPCC for备案 (record-filing). Everyone remembers how many Chinese entrepreneurs would participate in the NPC one moment and the CPPCC the next. What were they actually doing? They were looking for protective umbrellas. I asked them at the time, "You attend these NPC and CPPCC meetings, and every day you just talk about nonsense." They told me, "Huliren, you don't understand. What is our participation in the NPC and CPPCC? It is a protective umbrella. If the local government or the police want to arrest me, they dare not do so. First, they have to report it to the NPC." For instance, if it's the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, they have to report to the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress. If the NPC does not agree, you have no way to arrest them. And even if the NPC is going to cooperate with you, someone will come out to put in a good word for you, giving you plenty of time to deal with them and pull strings. In the current CCP officialdom, as long as someone is arrested, absolutely no one will put in a good word for you. Everyone knows that if anyone dares to put in a good word for you, that person is very likely to be taken away immediately. People will think you might be in cahoots with them; why else would you come out to speak for them? They'll just take you away directly. Arrests in the officialdom are like this now. This is the era of red terror in officialdom. Beijing is already engulfed in bloody winds and storms. Various ministries and commissions in Beijing are arresting people these days, and many people dare not go to work. Bureau-level cadres, division-level cadres, and many people in the city dare not go to work. Many people are already giving final instructions at home: what should the family do if I get locked up today? What should the wife do? Their children are all abroad. Think about it—it has reached this point, who wouldn't be afraid?
This material from Qiushi magazine is actually intended by Xi Jinping for these officials to see. Strict party governance, promoting comprehensive strict party governance—what does comprehensive strict party governance mean? Not a single person will be left behind; this is what comprehensive strict party governance is. Everyone must undergo strict audits regarding their political ideology, political performance, social relations, officialdom relations, which projects you have once worked on, which systems and cases you were involved in, your asset situation, and your family's asset situation. He is going to conduct a comprehensive audit. All high-ranking officials of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) are party members. If you are not a party member in the CCP officialdom, you cannot get promoted at all. Look at those members of the democratic parties, like the democratic party members who were my former mentors, people from the Jiusan Society—how are they? They don't hold official government positions; most of them are professors, centrist figures, scholars, and entrepreneurs. They don't want to get involved with this Communist Party mess. Many directly quit or never joined the party, so the Communist Party wouldn't go looking to recruit them. However, their companies, group companies—for instance, large enterprises—already had party committees and branches established long ago, and in reality, they are also controlled by the Communist Party. You will see that in the next few years, China will have almost no large private entrepreneurs; all private entrepreneurs will be forced to hand over their enterprises to the government on a silver platter. They will only be left with enough money for their own living expenses. Any overseas money might be hunted down by investigating your history, retroactively checking twenty or thirty years back, and forcing you to transfer your overseas assets back. This is what Xi Jinping wants to do right now, and the goal he achieves is precisely this goal.
No one can stop him; the only thing that can stop him is the military. What is everyone pinning their hopes on now? Everyone wants to become "leading the way" collaborators. Oh American imperialism, come! It would be best if a major war breaks out in the South China Sea and the East China Sea to wipe out Xi Jinping and wipe out the Communist Party. Right now, people inside the Communist Party all hope that the Communist Party will collapse and Xi Jinping will step down; this is the sentiment inside right now. Therefore, for democracy and freedom, everyone must remember: you Communist Party officials have reached this point today by your own doing. When you initially joined the interior of the Communist Party, you had no understanding of the Communist Party at all. The ultimate nature of the Communist Party is precisely this nature. Eventually, these Communist Party officials will end up in prison in the future; this is your ultimate destination, and also your inevitable destination. Not entering prison is a matter of luck and coincidence; entering prison is what is inevitable. Looking at the history of the Communist Party, it is just like this. The decades of reform and opening up were a detour taken by the Communist Party. In the future, people inside the Communist Party will be just like this: dedicating themselves to communism, struggling for a lifetime, and ultimately going to prison to struggle. Their final destination is going to prison. When the Communist Party falls, these people will likewise enter prison, exactly the same. The people will prosecute them, and the interior of the Communist Party will also prosecute them.
Just now I watched a video, and right now many domestic self-media outlets, as well as overseas self-media outlets, have completely lost confidence in China's economy. Therefore, I suggest to everyone: liquidate any assets you have domestically immediately, liquidate them immediately. Do not pin your hopes on anything anymore, absolutely not, especially real estate, real property. Because for many ordinary Chinese people, their biggest investment is real estate, their own property—having several houses at home. You must never hold this kind of mentality anymore. Real estate by next year—I already told everyone in a very important program I did a few days ago—will simply be a dead asset. The so-called asset will have no liquidity or cash-out capability whatsoever. If you want to cash it out, it is impossible. The Communist Party and Xi Jinping are currently moving in this direction, moving in this direction. As long as ordinary people are able to liquidate their assets, then ordinary people have the ability to oppose the Communist Party. When you lack the ability to liquidate assets, you become poor. Once you become poor, you have no other way; even eating depends on the Communist Party, so you can only obey its orders. This is what Xi Jinping is doing right now, so everyone should no longer expect that my house will appreciate in value. No, it is impossible to appreciate again. The current prices you see, right now the Xi Jinping government is hoodwinking ordinary people into buying houses—actually, it's just selling the existing houses taken from real estate companies to ordinary people as much as possible for one last wave. Selling those new homes, those primary market properties, and selling them off while continuously rolling out various policies in the future targeting ordinary people, so that ordinary people's houses have absolutely no liquidity and cannot be cashed out. This is the future situation in China.
In the past two days, you have seen that the former Party Secretary of Chongqing, Huang Qifan, was arrested. Today, news emerged that the Deputy Mayor of Chengdu, who was also the former Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor of Chengdu—a very significant mayor of Chengdu—has also been arrested. Nowadays, you see it every day: five 'tigers' taken down in a single day, or something similar; people are being arrested constantly, day after day. What we see is only a small fraction; many people have been taken in, but there has been no official announcement yet. In fact, many people within the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) have already entered a state of suspension. That is to say, they might occasionally make an appearance, but they no longer hold any real power within the CCP; it is like holding a nominal position. When the day comes that an official announcement is made that this person has been taken in, it is very likely that they were already taken away by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection (CCDI) days ago, placed under detention, and arrested. In the end, they just go through the motions, and finally, the sentencing is officially announced. This is the ultimate fate of the CCP. Alright, thank you all for watching, and we will see you in the next topic.
