Critique of the 'Peaceful, Rational, Law-Abiding' Trap by FanZei.Net

Since the establishment of FanZei.Net, we have never opposed resistance through so-called 'peaceful, rational, law-abiding' means. On the contrary, we have always encouraged anti-CCP individuals to resist the Chinese Communist Party in various forms, such as: refusing to marry, refusing to buy houses, refusing to have children, refusing to work, refusing to pay social security, and even starting by resisting parents to preserve their innate rebellious nature, and so on. These are all effective means of resistance. However, we have never deliberately emphasized 'non-violent' resistance, because 'peaceful, rational, law-abiding' is itself a subtle tool for setting limits.

Facts have proven our intuition. When we began to publicly advocate for armed resistance against the CCP, a counter-current of 'peaceful, rational, law-abiding' began to spread in the Chinese public opinion space. They vigorously promoted 'peaceful, rational, law-abiding,' describing it as the only viable path, and suppressed and criticized forces advocating for armed resistance against the CCP—including us—without naming them. Only then did we realize that the CCP's control had long permeated the community of meaning for anti-CCP individuals. We had to feel deeply disappointed with some of them, even those with considerable prestige.

But our struggle will not stop because of disappointment. On the contrary, disappointment is the starting point for a new struggle. We must expose the lies of the 'peaceful, rational, law-abiding' faction with even greater fervor.

'Peaceful, rational, law-abiding' is essentially a linguistic trap. If the goal is to overthrow the dictatorial rule of the CCP and establish a democratic new China, shouldn't all forms of resistance be encouraged? Why emphasize 'non-violence' separately? This is nothing more than artificially creating division and deliberately stripping away and weakening the anti-CCP forces—especially weakening the part they fear the most. Their method is simple: to suppress the rest by pretending to advocate for a part.

The 'peaceful, rational, law-abiding' faction portrays violence as inherently wrong and ugly, as if they abhor it, even crying out that anti-CCP individuals must 'keep themselves pure' and never use violence. But if they truly detest violence, why don't they persuade the CCP to lay down its butcher's knives? After all, the CCP's annual stability maintenance budget of trillions is all blood money used to maintain violent suppression. In contrast, we anti-CCP individuals, although our slogans are loud, would probably blush with embarrassment if asked to produce a real gun and a real bullet. From this, it can be seen that these so-called 'peaceful, rational, law-abiding' factions are not motivated by genuine pacifist ideals, but are using the banner of 'peaceful, rational, law-abiding' to suppress all forces advocating for armed resistance and violent revolution. That's right, we don't have guns for now, but this is not a reason for them to let us go—what they want is for us not to even dare to have such thoughts.

This brings up a sharp question: are these people really opposing the CCP? Are they really comrades-in-arms? If they are comrades-in-arms, why are they so harsh on their own people yet so tolerant of the CCP? This logic simply doesn't hold up.

Therefore, we reiterate FanZei.Net's stance here today:

• FanZei.Net welcomes and supports all forms of resistance and anti-CCP actions, advocating for carefully planned, results-oriented struggles.

• The 'peaceful, rational, law-abiding faction' we criticize refers to those who describe 'peaceful, rational, law-abiding' as the only correct path and suppress individuals and organizations that advocate for armed resistance and violent means.

• FanZei.Net firmly opposes the use of the trap term 'peaceful, rational, law-abiding' when describing, researching, and discussing methods and paths of anti-CCP struggle, to prevent the anti-CCP forces from being divided and disintegrated.

• We call on true anti-CCP friends to maintain high vigilance against such 'peaceful, rational, law-abiding' individuals and organizations and to actively distance themselves from them.

The struggle to overthrow the CCP brooks no artificial limitations, let alone division disguised as a 'peaceful' cloak. True anti-CCP individuals should unite all possible forces, by all possible means, until the dictatorship is overthrown.
