Wang Miaosen: Letter of Report Against State President and General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee Xi Jinping
My name is Wang Miaosen. I am filing a real-name report against Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee and State President, for his "arbitrary and reckless actions" during the COVID-19 pandemic. The facts and reasons are as follows:
- Reprimand of Li Wenliang
At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, namely at the end of 2019, Li Wenliang, an ophthalmologist at Wuhan Central Hospital, discovered suspected SARS cases during his work and reminded his peers in a WeChat group to watch out for this novel virus. However, Li Wenliang's good-faith action was reprimanded by the Zhongnanlu Police Station of the Wuchang Branch of the Wuhan Public Security Bureau for "publishing false statements on the internet." This reprimand prevented the COVID-19 pandemic from being discovered by the public at an early stage, prevented the public's self-rescue awareness from being awakened, and suppressed their self-protection capabilities, leading to the rampant spread of the virus, endangering the lives and safety of people worldwide, and causing a very adverse impact.
- The Cruel "Dynamic Zero-COVID" Policy
During the middle and later stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, countries around the world gradually lifted controls, yet Xi Jinping still insisted on the "dynamic zero-COVID" policy. This cruel, one-size-fits-all "dynamic zero-COVID" policy, which disregarded the safety of people's lives, resulted in people not being killed by the COVID-19 virus, but rather dying from secondary disasters such as food shortages caused by lockdowns and failure to receive timely medical treatment. For example, since March 28, 2022, when Shanghai implemented a phased lockdown divided by the Huangpu River, residents continuously said, "We are almost starving to death," "The virus won't kill people, but starvation will." It is evident that the government failed to adequately guarantee the food supply for residents, and residents continuously died due to food shortages. Another example is on November 24, 2022, when a residential building in Urumqi caught fire, but residents were unable to save themselves due to "lockdown" measures, and the fire escape routes were sealed off, resulting in 10 deaths and 9 injuries. Both examples illustrate that the cruel "dynamic zero-COVID" policy excessively restricted the people's freedom of movement, leading to severe secondary disasters, which seriously endangered the lives and health of the people.
- Suppression of the White Paper Movement
At the end of 2022, students in universities across the country held blank sheets of paper to protest the cruel "dynamic zero-COVID" policy and demanded the lifting of lockdowns. The students' rights are protected by the "Constitution." However, the Chinese government violated the Constitution by conducting massive arrests and imprisonments against them, and public power was seriously abused.
Regarding the above three points, Xi Jinping, as State President and General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, bears inescapable responsibility. When meeting with WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on January 28, 2020, Xi Jinping stated that he has always been personally directing and personally deploying the epidemic prevention and control work. Since it is "personal," he should be held responsible for his dereliction of duty. In summary, I believe that Comrade Xi Jinping violated work discipline, acted "recklessly" during the COVID-19 pandemic, and caused severe consequences such as mass deaths; he violated mass discipline by ignoring the voices of the masses and instead using tyranny to suppress the masses, creating an adverse impact. It is hoped that the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission will expel Xi Jinping from the Party and revoke all his posts inside and outside the Party.
