On September 13, at the Taipei Flower Expo Park in Taiwan, a “Remember Wangwang” memorial event was held, where the public mourned the stray mother dog and her puppies that died in the June 28 Guangdong Jieyang dog-cruelty incident by offering flowers, leaving messages and distributing souvenirs, and promoted animal-protection concepts.
