A Chinese teenager in his teens flew from China to Jeju Island, South Korea, on August 27. He used a handheld radio on the fourth-floor observation deck of Jeju Airport to listen to communications between the control tower and aircraft for about 90 minutes. The Jeju Provincial Police Agency announced the case on September 15, noting that the teenager's camera contained multiple photos involving two military facilities. He has currently been placed on a departure ban and is under investigation.
