The purges within official circles of the Chinese Communist Party continue. Jiang Hongwei, Deputy Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Deputy Director of the Supervisory Commission of Heilongjiang Province, along with Cao Peng, Party Leadership Group Member of the Shenyang Municipal People's Congress Standing Committee, have both fallen and are under investigation.
