Coolapk · Full chronicle and history

On October 14, a Coolapk editor posted that they had received an email from the HarmonyOS app store requiring missing features such as live streaming, Shenquan coupons, and Weibo and Douyin login to be added, and the splash screen crash to be fixed, with rectification to be completed within 30 days or chart recommendations would be affected; during a phone conversation the other side asked back, "When do you plan to shut down these Android features that HarmonyOS doesn't have?"

On August 5, 2026, staff at Coolapk, a well-known Chinese tech community, publicly disclosed in a post that the platform has long and frequently received tens of thousands of letters demanding post deletion and takedown from major domestic smartphone and digital device makers, which ruthlessly suppress users' genuine negative reviews and complaints.
