U.S. Naval War College report says CCP's ocean-going merchant fleet carries out military intelligence missions under a civilian guise
The China Maritime Studies Institute of the U.S. Naval War College released a report stating that CCP maritime militias are directly commanded by the People's Liberation Army and the coast guard, and that Chinese ocean-going vessels use concealed on-board systems to collect signals intelligence along the coasts of North America, Europe and Asia, carrying out military missions under the name of private enterprises.
