Guangzhou's Huangpu District Hired 2,482 Contract Teachers Outside the Establishment from 2021 to 2023
To cope with the school enrollment peak caused by the "two-child" policy, Guangzhou's Huangpu District hired a cumulative total of 2,482 contract teachers outside the establishment from 2021 to 2023. These teachers have now become the first to bear the pressure of layoffs as student numbers decline.
