Zhejiang University of Technology · Full chronicle and history

On October 22, Zhejiang Radio and Television reported that Wang Yiqing, a sophomore at Zhejiang University of Technology, taught himself to build an AI video platform, which now has 20,000 users and more than 600,000 yuan in membership top-ups over two months. Because model names such as Seedance, MiniMax, and Sora2 appeared in the demo menu, netizens questioned whether he was running a "relay station" that resells ready-made AI services, joking, "That's seriously criminal."

On September 29, Zhejiang University of Technology announced its government procurement intentions, planning to spend 240,000 yuan to procure abnormal network traffic monitoring, analysis, and handling services, requiring the use of trusted DNS for precise monitoring and continuous reduction of abnormal traffic, as well as auditing and handling of violations of cross-border internet access rules.
