On October 28, netizens discovered that Migu had scheduled broadcasts for 9 out of 10 La Liga matches this weekend. The only one not listed was the November 1 match between Real Madrid and Racing Santander, suspected to be related to the controversy over Kylian Mbappé's Mao Zedong meme.

Migu removed footage of Mbappé's two goals from its El Clásico page, while footage of Raphinha's goal in the same match remained visible, and Mbappé's player information on Real Madrid's lineup page was also cleared. Migu is La Liga's new media exclusive partner in mainland China, with a contract running through the 2029-30 season.
