Indonesia Says Joint Drills Between Chinese and Indonesian Vessels Were Courtesy Passage Exercises
Chinese Navy vessels and Indonesian Navy vessels conducted passage drills in the waters east of Taiwan. Indonesia subsequently stated that the activity was a courtesy drill carried out en route back home and was unrelated to war or war preparedness.
