On October 13, Conservative MP Jacob Mantel wrote to Foreign Minister Anand, demanding an immediate investigation into the attack on female protesters outside the Chinese consulate-general in Toronto, and that the man be expelled if confirmed to be a Chinese diplomat or hired by a foreign power.
