On July 11, 2026, a cybersecurity account disclosed screenshots of documents showing that Chinese listed cybersecurity company RenZixing established a VPN intelligence database, conducting deep traffic screening and feature tagging on more than thirty circumvention tools including Mist, Lantern, and others.
