At a State Council Information Office press conference on October 10, Li Zhong, Vice Minister of Human Resources and Social Security, announced that as of the end of September, the number of participants in basic pension, unemployment, and work injury insurance had reached 1.079 billion, 251 million, and 327 million respectively, and said that through policy optimization and other means such as “using data to find people,” those not yet enrolled would be found and mobilized to enroll, with a focus on supporting flexible workers and migrant workers in participating in employee pension insurance.
