On September 18, Singapore's Lianhe Zaobao published a post on social media mentioning the September 18 Incident and the attack on a Japanese schoolboy in Shenzhen, triggering domestic public controversy and trending on Weibo. Subsequently, the media outlet deleted the relevant posts from its official website and social media platforms.
