Deng Zhifang, the younger son of Deng Xiaoping, lost nearly 200 million RMB at the Casino Lisboa in Macau. The debt was subsequently covered using overseas public funds from Shougang by Zhou Beifang, which triggered Zhou's eventual arrest and sentencing.
