Jiangxi Normal University · Full chronicle and history

Jiangxi Normal University requires students to submit an application for all private international travel. This policy has been in effect for half a year, and specific implementation details have not been made public.

A netizen submission on April 17 reported that Jiangxi Normal University requires all students traveling abroad (or to Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan), whether for official business or tourism, to fill out an application form and undergo multi-level school approval. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action. Several sections of the application form are alleged to severely infringe upon student privacy.
